About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Experienced Patrol in Honolulu, Hawaii, at a hotel and resort location. The position provides a designated site and reliable weekly anchor shift, with a six-month commitment to that assignment. The employee may also claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform, with the opportunity to build up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week and scale back when needed. The stated pay rate is $27.33 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of a background investigation, subject to applicable laws.
• Drug screening, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond calmly and professionally to guest concerns, incidents, and critical situations; communicate with site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hotel grounds, guest areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity according to site procedures, report unusual conditions, and maintain accurate activity and incident documentation.
• Provide directions, answer general questions, and assist with security-related requests while maintaining a professional presence.
