About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Experienced Patrol in Sharon Hill, Pennsylvania. The role provides reliable hours at an assigned site, with the option to claim additional shifts through the company’s scheduling platform. The designated weekly shift is an anchor schedule requiring a six-month commitment. Additional shifts may provide opportunities to work more hours, up to 40 hours per week, with the ability to scale back. The listed pay rate is $18.00 per hour. The schedule shown is Monday, 8:00 AM–12:00 PM.

The Security Officer supports client security procedures and site-specific policies, responds to incidents and emergencies, and conducts regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Requirements

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

• CPR/First Aid certification.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients while carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• When appropriate, perform emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
