About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Security Officer for construction site patrol in Sunnyvale, California. The role involves patrolling sensitive areas, monitoring for suspicious activity, controlling access, responding to alarms and incidents, and protecting people and property. Officers must be able to stand and walk throughout their shifts. Full-time schedules are available on day, swing, and graveyard shifts; the specific schedule will be discussed during the interview. This project is scheduled to end on December 31, 2026. The position pays $23 per hour.

Requirements

• Hold a state security license and have completed the additional 32-hour BSIS security trainings; additional security trainings may be obtained during the hiring process.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be able to stand and walk for the entire shift.

• First aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to identify suspicious activity.
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas.
• React quickly to threats or incidents.
• Check that alarms and cameras are functioning properly.

• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents.
