About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed patrol officer for a retail and entertainment location in Knoxville, Tennessee. The officer conducts routine patrols and maintains a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, while assisting guests and staff professionally. The role includes communicating clearly, responding to concerns, and supporting a welcoming environment. The position is scheduled Friday and Saturday from 6:00 PM to 2:00 AM and pays $18.15 per hour. Officers may use Allied Universal’s Claim a Shift platform to view and claim additional shifts.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation, as a condition of employment and in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen, as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to guests, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the entertainment venue, dining areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
Respond calmly to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel or emergency services as needed.
Monitor access points and help maintain orderly guest flow during busy periods, events, and closing activities.
Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, observations, and activities, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
