About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed patrol Security Officer in South Bend, Indiana. The officer will work at a logistics-focused location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. The role involves routine patrols, observing and reporting unusual activity, supporting access control procedures, and providing customer service and clear communication. The position pays $18.20 per hour and is scheduled Friday through Sunday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old for an unarmed role.
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Complete a background investigation, subject to applicable laws.
- Complete a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements; licensing may be required before employment.
Responsibilities
- Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies while providing customer service to clients.
- Participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
- Observe and report unusual activity.
- Support access control procedures.
- Maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents.
