About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer in Davenport, Iowa, supporting a technology, media, and telecommunications location. The role focuses on monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible security presence, and providing customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors. Officers communicate with visitors and team members, respond professionally to incidents and access concerns, and help maintain a welcoming, orderly environment. The scheduled shifts are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The pay rate is $18.80 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, subject to applicable laws.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state or local laws and regulations before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and applicable emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the property perimeter.
Identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor access points and visitor activity according to site-specific procedures.
Accurately document incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
