About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer for a fast-paced logistics and distribution location in Newark, California. The officer will safeguard clients and help maintain a secure environment through patrols, access control support, observation, and professional communication with employees, visitors, and drivers. The role is part of a collaborative team guided by care, teamwork, and integrity. The position pays $23.60 per hour and is scheduled Fridays and Saturdays from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements; a license may be required before employment.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and personnel by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, building entrances, and the location perimeter.
- Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel according to site procedures.
- Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts or emergency responders.
- Help deter unauthorized access, theft, and other security concerns through visible patrols, observation, and timely reporting.
