About The Position

As a Security Officer at a residential community in Royal Palm Beach, Florida, you will serve and safeguard clients by conducting patrols, maintaining a visible presence, supporting access control, and providing courteous customer service to residents and visitors. This driving position represents Allied Universal through integrity, reliability, teamwork, and a people-first approach while helping maintain a secure environment.

The position is full time and pays $18.50 per hour. The scheduled shifts are Wednesday through Sunday, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; required for driving positions.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures and community policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond calmly and professionally to resident concerns, incidents, and critical situations, and report observations to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, amenity spaces, parking areas, building exteriors, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and delivery activity according to site-specific procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports about incidents, unusual activity, and security-related concerns.
