About The Position

As a part-time Security Officer at a commercial real estate location in Los Angeles, you will help safeguard tenants, visitors, and contractors while providing professional customer service. You will operate the front desk, manage visitor access and credentials, monitor security activity, and respond to incidents in accordance with site procedures. The position is scheduled Thursday and Friday from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM and pays $23.00 per hour.

Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements depend on state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by following security procedures and site-specific policies and, when appropriate, carrying out emergency response activities.
Operate the front desk by greeting visitors, verifying access authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and directing guests to offices or building contacts.
Monitor access points, visitor activity, and security-related systems, reporting unusual conditions or access concerns according to site procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, communicating with building management, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
Maintain accurate visitor logs, access records, and incident documentation while assisting people in a high-traffic lobby.
