About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol officer to serve in a healthcare setting in Los Angeles, California. The officer will conduct routine and random patrols, maintain a visible security presence, and help foster a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. The role provides customer service and communication while responding to security concerns, emergencies, and other incidents. The position pays $21.74 per hour and is scheduled Tuesday through Saturday, 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM.

Requirements

Must be able to work in a hospital morgue.
Must be able to restrain individuals.
At least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must undergo a background investigation, as permitted by applicable laws.
Must undergo a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
X-ray screening experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facility interiors, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unauthorized access concerns.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations; notify appropriate site personnel and emergency responders as needed.
Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and promptly in accordance with company and site requirements.
