About The Position

As a Security Officer at a commercial real estate location in Omaha, Nebraska, you will safeguard clients and provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff. The role involves maintaining a visible security presence, conducting unarmed patrols, monitoring access, responding to incidents, and documenting activities. The position is full-time and pays $20.50 per hour. The scheduled shifts are Wednesday through Saturday, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property personnel while following security procedures and site-specific policies, and assist with emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; contact appropriate personnel or emergency services as directed.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to identify unusual activity and security concerns.
Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and delivery activity; report unauthorized access attempts or policy violations.
Document daily activities, patrols, incidents, and observations in required logs and reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
