About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer Alarm Panel Operator in Atlanta, Georgia, to safeguard clients at a public-sector location. The role involves monitoring access points, conducting routine patrols, responding to alarms, and helping maintain a secure environment. The officer uses computer or tablet systems to support access control and badge processes while providing customer service. The position pays $21.00 per hour. The listed schedule is Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 6:45 AM–7:00 PM. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter.
Monitor access points and respond to alarms.
Use computer or tablet systems to support access control and badge processes.
