About The Position

As a Security Officer Alarm Panel Operator, you will safeguard a commercial real estate location in Richardson, Texas. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide customer service and communication. Experience with alarm panels and access control systems is preferred. The role includes scheduled overnight shifts Wednesday through Sunday, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. This is a full-time position paying $18.88 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements before employment if required.

Nice To Haves

Experience with alarm panels.
Experience with access control and badges.
A state-, county-, or city-issued security-related license.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and clients by carrying out security procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Monitor access points and common areas, and assist with visitor and contractor entry according to site procedures.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters according to established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of building interiors, exterior areas, parking facilities, and the surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Accurately document incidents, observations, and daily activities, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
