About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol officer and alarm panel operator at a financial institution location in Florence, New Jersey. The officer will help safeguard the site by conducting patrols, monitoring alarm systems and access points, and providing professional customer service and communication. The role is scheduled Sunday and Monday through Thursday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, and pays $18.54 per hour.

Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation and, to the extent permitted by law, a drug screen.
Licensing requirements depend on applicable state and local laws and may need to be met before employment.

Nice To Haves

Guard card or license.
CPR and First Aid certification.
Experience with alarm panels.
CPR certification.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while following site-specific security procedures and policies.
Monitor access points, verify visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following established emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the business perimeter; identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
Communicate security concerns and incident updates to site representatives, emergency personnel, and Allied Universal leadership.
