About The Position

As a full-time Unarmed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location in Bristow, Virginia, you will safeguard clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence, and supporting access control and alarm response activities. You will provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel, communicate professionally, and contribute to a reliable team that acts with integrity. The schedule is Thursday through Sunday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The pay rate is $23.36 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Nice To Haves

A guard card or license.
Alarm panel experience.
CPR certification.
Access control and/or badge experience.
Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, alarms, access-related concerns, and critical situations calmly and in accordance with established site procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to identify unusual activity or potential hazards.
Monitor property access, verify visitor and contractor authorization as required, and report access irregularities to appropriate personnel.
Complete detailed activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs in accordance with company and site requirements.
