Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Alarm Panel
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer and driver for a financial institution in Sugar Land, Texas. The role involves conducting routine and random patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, responding to alarms and security concerns, monitoring access, and providing customer service. The position supports a professional and welcoming environment through clear communication, teamwork, integrity, and a reliable approach. The schedule is Friday from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Saturday from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, and Sunday from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The pay rate is $16.50 per hour. Applicants are subject to background investigation and drug screening as permitted by law. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; required for driving positions.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations; notify site contacts and emergency services as directed.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter; identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and security concerns.
- Monitor access points and verify visitor and contractor authorization according to site procedures.
- Maintain accurate activity and incident documentation.
- Help deter unauthorized access and maintain awareness of conditions throughout the location.
