About The Position

As a full-time unarmed patrol officer at an automotive location in Redford, Michigan, you will serve and safeguard clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible security presence, and supporting access control and alarm response activities. You will provide customer service and clear communication while using computer or tablet systems to document observations and assist visitors. The role is scheduled overnight Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The pay rate is $18.36 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and contractors by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, parking lots, perimeter locations, access points, and other assigned areas; identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
Monitor and control site access in accordance with procedures, including verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and directing individuals to appropriate areas.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, and communicate observations and concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as appropriate.
Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain activity logs covering patrol findings, incidents, and access-related information.
