As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
  • The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the healthcare location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter.
  • Monitor access points and report unauthorized access, suspicious activity, hazards, and policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established security-related procedures.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols, incidents, and observations.
