About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Alarm Panel Verification in San Jose, California, you will serve and safeguard clients at a residential community. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, support access control, and respond to security-related concerns. Your visible presence and customer service will help deter incidents while fostering a welcoming environment for residents and visitors. This is a part-time position scheduled Friday and Saturday from 5:30 PM to 2:00 AM, paying $23.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable licensing requirements; licensing may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or staff while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random patrols of residential community grounds, common areas, parking areas, building exteriors, and the perimeter; identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity according to site procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, document observations, and notify appropriate personnel as directed.
Maintain accurate daily activity reports and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
