About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution in Altamonte Springs, Florida. The officer will help safeguard the site by patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence, and supporting a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. The role involves customer service, monitoring access points, identifying unusual conditions, and responding professionally to security concerns and incidents. The posted pay rate is $19.85 per hour. The schedule is Monday and Tuesday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Requirements

Have at least three years of experience as a military police officer, corrections officer, or armed security-related professional, or be a certified law enforcement graduate.
Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

CPR certification.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel while following site-specific procedures, security policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, and report access-control concerns or policy violations.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents and critical situations, and document observations and actions according to site procedures.
Communicate clearly with site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and emergency responders when appropriate.
