Security Officer - Corporate Bank Headquarters
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer to support a financial institution at its corporate bank headquarters in New York, NY. The officer will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine checks, help deter security-related incidents, and provide customer service to employees and visitors. The role requires clear communication and a professional presence to help maintain a welcoming environment. The position pays $21.52 per hour. The listed schedule is Wednesday, 12:00 PM–8:00 PM, and Friday, 10:00 PM–6:00 AM. Applicants are subject to a background investigation and, to the extent permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing requirements may apply before employment.
Requirements
- Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities
- Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following established site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned interior areas, exterior grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access to the location and verify credentials as directed.
- Report suspicious activity, policy violations, and facility concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Accurately document incidents, observations, and daily activities in accordance with site requirements and company procedures.
- Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors.
