About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer to serve and safeguard clients in a residential community in Discovery Bay, California. The role involves driving routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents, reporting security-related concerns, and providing professional customer service to residents and visitors. The position requires a valid driver’s license.

The schedule is Wednesday and Thursday from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The pay rate is $21.50 per hour. Applicants are subject to background investigation and drug screening as permitted by law. Applicable state or local licensing requirements may apply.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license, required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements for this driving position.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to drug screening to the extent permitted by law.
• State or local licensing requirements may apply and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and contractors while carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies, and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, document observations, and notify appropriate personnel as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the residential community, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe vehicle and pedestrian activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Report maintenance concerns, property damage, suspicious activity, and policy violations to designated personnel.
