Security Officer Full Time Patrol Route Driver
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol officer in Hereford, Texas, serving a food and beverage manufacturing location. The position involves driving patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, helping deter security-related incidents, and supporting a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. The officer provides customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s stated values. The schedule is Tuesday through Thursday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM and Friday from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Pay is $15.00 per hour, paid weekly. A valid driver’s license is required for this driving position.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
- Subject to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state or local laws and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and vendors by following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including production-adjacent spaces, loading areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter.
- Monitor access points and verify visitor and contractor authorization according to site procedures.
- Document arrivals, departures, and relevant observations.
- Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify site contacts or emergency responders as directed by established procedures.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, patrol activities, and security-related concerns.
- Communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and designated client representatives.
