About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer for a lobby reception and driving post at a food and beverage manufacturing or distribution location in Cincinnati, Ohio. The officer serves as a welcoming, visible presence while supporting a secure environment and providing customer service to visitors, clients, and employees. Responsibilities include managing visitor access, monitoring entry activity, maintaining records, answering calls, and responding to incidents in accordance with site procedures. A valid driver's license is required for this driving position. The listed pay rate is $16.77 per hour. The schedule includes overnight and afternoon/evening shifts across Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Requirements

• Possess a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any licensing requirements applicable under state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification.

• A state-, county-, or city-issued security-related license.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at the front desk while following site-specific procedures and security policies.
• Greet visitors, verify identification and appointments, issue visitor credentials, and direct individuals according to site requirements.
• Monitor entry activity, maintain visitor and delivery records, and communicate access concerns or unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
• Answer telephone calls, provide general information, and support communication between visitors, employees, and site contacts.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, follow emergency response procedures, and notify appropriate personnel.
