Security Officer Corporate Building Full Time Patrol Reporting
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution in New York, NY. The officer will help safeguard the client by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, and providing customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors. The position involves communicating professionally with visitors and emergency responders while supporting a welcoming environment. The officer will carry out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities, respond to incidents and alarms according to site protocols, monitor access points and visitor activity, and complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation. The scheduled hours are Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The pay rate is $22.53–$23.53 per hour. Applicants must have at least two years of security-related experience, be at least 18 years old for an unarmed role, and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Applicants are subject to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local law.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial institution while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
- Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, follow site protocols, and notify appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, surrounding grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to identify unusual conditions and deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report access concerns or suspicious behavior to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
- Complete activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation accurately and promptly.
