About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol officer for a financial institution in Wilmington, Delaware. The role involves driving and conducting patrols to help safeguard the site, maintain a visible security presence, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and customers. The officer will provide customer service, communicate clearly, and use technology to document activity. The scheduled hours are Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Pay is $20.00 per hour.

Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience.
A valid driver's license for this driving position, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
A high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies, and performing emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking offices, common areas, parking facilities, and the property perimeter.
Identify and report unusual activity, access concerns, and potential hazards.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate activity and incident documentation.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate site contacts or emergency responders according to established protocols.
Help deter unauthorized access, theft, and disruptive conduct through a professional presence, observation, communication, and timely reporting.
