About The Position

As a part-time, unarmed Security Officer Patrol Reporting in a healthcare location in Albuquerque, New Mexico, you will help safeguard patients, visitors, staff, and the facility. You will provide customer service, follow site-specific security procedures, maintain a visible presence, and conduct patrols. You will also respond professionally to incidents and emergencies, monitor access and visitor activity, and document observations and activities using computer or tablet tools. The role offers a schedule that includes Monday and Sunday overnight shifts, with access to a platform for claiming additional shifts.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations; notify appropriate facility personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and complete required documentation for patrol observations, incidents, and security-related activities.
