About The Position

As a Security Officer Warehouse Patrol in Ontario, California, you will serve and safeguard clients at a logistics and distribution location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. The role involves providing exceptional customer service, communicating clearly, and using computer or tablet tools as needed. The position is full-time and pays $20.00 per hour. The scheduled hours are 7:00 PM to 3:30 AM, Monday through Friday.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• A Guard Card/License.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and warehouse personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of warehouse, loading dock, trailer yard, parking, and perimeter areas to identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and driver credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs for deliveries, arrivals, departures, and incidents.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Observe and report hazards, damaged property, policy violations, and other security-related concerns in accordance with site procedures.
