About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed Security Officer Patrol in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to serve and safeguard clients at a technology-focused location. The role provides customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while following site-specific procedures and security protocols. Officers conduct foot and/or vehicle patrols, monitor access points and site conditions, respond to incidents and alarms, and complete accurate security documentation. The stated schedule is Monday through Thursday, 8:00 PM to 4:00 AM. The pay rate is $16.38 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and site conditions; document observations and report security-related concerns according to established procedures.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, follow emergency response activities, and notify appropriate contacts.
Complete activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs accurately and in a timely manner.
