Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouse spaces, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site-specific procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
- Document patrol observations, incidents, access-related activity, and other required information through accurate reports and daily activity logs.
