About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer for an industrial technology site in Notrees, Texas. The role provides a designated site and fixed weekly anchor shift, requiring a six-month commitment. Officers may claim additional shifts through a scheduling platform, allowing them to increase their hours and potentially work up to 40 hours per week. The position pays $26.00 per hour.

The schedule is Friday from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM, Saturday from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, and Sunday from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The role provides customer service while carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies, responding to incidents, and patrolling the site and its perimeter. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or 21 or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Undergo a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Undergo a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver’s license if applying for a driving position.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and performing emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations using problem-solving skills.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
