About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer to support a technology facility in Longmont, Colorado. The role serves and safeguards employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by providing customer service, maintaining a visible security presence, conducting patrols, monitoring access points, and responding to security-related concerns. The position pays $21.00 per hour and is scheduled for daytime shifts on Saturdays and Sundays from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The officer will follow site-specific procedures and policies, help deter incidents and unauthorized access, document observations, and respond calmly to incidents and alarms. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, minimum age of 18 for unarmed roles, and successful completion of applicable background and drug screening conditions. Licensing may be required under applicable state or local rules. A valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors while following security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, parking areas, entry points, and the perimeter to identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and document security-related observations in required reports.
Respond calmly and with a problem-solving approach to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
Maintain a professional presence and support a welcoming environment for personnel and visitors at the technology facility.
