About The Position

As a part-time Security Officer supporting a technology, media, and telecommunications location in Denver, Colorado, you will serve and safeguard clients. This is an unarmed patrol role focused on monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents, and responding to security-related concerns. You will provide customer service and clear communication while using computer or tablet systems and alarm panels as needed. The listed schedule is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Requirements

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements that apply under state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfort using a computer or tablet.
CPR and First Aid certification.
CPR certification.
Alarm panel experience.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while following site-specific procedures and access-control requirements.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Monitor entrances, visitor activity, and designated access points; verify credentials and maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following established emergency response procedures.
Report maintenance issues, suspicious activity, policy violations, and other security-related observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
