Industrial Security Officer
About The Position
The Industrial Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by monitoring premises, controlling access, and patrolling assigned locations. The officer preserves order by enforcing regulations and directives related to personnel, visitors, and the site. The role involves frequent interaction with client employees and guests, customer service, use of technology devices, and heavy foot patrols in varying weather conditions. The officer must follow post orders, complete assigned rounds, identify and report safety issues or suspicious activity, and respond to emergencies with sound judgment and appropriate escalation. Other duties of similar nature and scope may be assigned.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Above-average computer and technology skills.
- Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to remain vigilant throughout the shift.
- Professional demeanor.
- Willingness to participate in pre-employment screening, including a drug screen and background investigation.
- Driver certification.
- Comfort with heights and confined spaces.

- Security, law enforcement, or military experience.
Responsibilities
- Monitor premises and perform access control and patrols.

- Resolve conflicts and de-escalate situations.
- Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, and suspicious activity.
- Follow post orders and complete assigned rounds.
- Provide customer service and information to client employees and guests.
- Use technology devices throughout the shift.
- Conduct heavy foot patrols in various weather conditions.
- Respond to emergencies with rapid and effective judgment and appropriate escalation.
- Carry out other tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for the assigned site.
