Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor authorization, contractor check-in requirements, and vehicle entry documentation in accordance with site policies.
• Maintain accurate access-control, visitor, and incident records; issue and collect visitor badges, keys, and other authorized access items as directed.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production-area perimeters, parking areas, and other assigned locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
