About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed driver field patrol Security Officer in Waimanalo, Hawaii, for a government location. The position provides a designated site and weekly anchor shift with a six-month commitment. Officers may claim additional shifts through a scheduling platform, allowing their hours to vary and potentially build to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week. The role pays $26.33 per hour and has a scheduled Sunday day shift from 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A valid driver’s license meeting Allied Universal’s driver policy requirements is required.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license meeting Allied Universal driver policy requirements; required for driving positions.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any licensing requirements imposed by applicable state or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and authorized guests while following site procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, permits, and authorization according to post orders and government facility protocols.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
• Prepare accurate reports, maintain activity logs, and communicate observations and security concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
