About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed patrol driver for an assigned healthcare site in Kailua, Hawaii. The position provides a fixed weekly schedule of designated anchor shifts, requiring a six-month commitment. In addition to those shifts, officers may claim additional shifts through the scheduling platform. The role offers the option to build up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week and to scale back when needed. Pay is $25.76 per hour.

The officer provides security and customer service to patients, visitors, and staff; follows site procedures; responds to emergencies and incidents; patrols the facility; monitors access points; and documents observations and activities. Employment is contingent on applicable screening and licensing requirements.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license that meets Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• May need to meet state or local licensing requirements before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including entrances, parking areas, and facility perimeters.
• Monitor access points; assist with visitor direction and access control; and report suspicious activity or hazards to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports about incidents, observations, and security-related activities in accordance with site and Allied Universal procedures.
