About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed patrol driver in Albuquerque, New Mexico, to provide security at an assigned retail property. The position has a designated weekly anchor shift requiring a six-month commitment, with the option to claim additional shifts through a scheduling platform. Hours can vary based on claimed shifts, with the opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week and scale back when needed. The listed pay rate is $18.55 per hour.

The officer provides customer service and carries out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities. Duties include regular and random patrols of retail property, responding to incidents and concerns, monitoring access and activity, reporting suspicious conditions, and assisting tenants, shoppers, visitors, and property staff.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of retail common areas, parking areas, building exteriors, and perimeter locations.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, tenant or visitor concerns, and critical situations, and document observations and actions according to site procedures.
• Monitor access points and activity throughout the property, and report suspicious conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Provide directions and assistance and interact professionally with tenants, shoppers, visitors, and property staff.
