About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Security Officer at a food and beverage location in Bridgewater, Virginia. The officer will help safeguard the site through routine patrols, a visible security presence, access control, incident response, reporting, and customer service. The role is scheduled Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM and pays $18.04 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

A Guard Card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by following site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of food production, warehouse, loading dock, parking, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual conditions, unauthorized activity, and potential hazards.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, maintain visitor and vehicle logs, and direct guests, contractors, and vendors according to site policies.
Respond calmly and with a problem-solving approach to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate site contacts or emergency responders when needed.
Prepare clear, accurate reports and shift documentation about patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities.
