As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while using computer or tablet systems as needed. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortability using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a food production location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate logs for employees, contractors, vendors, and deliveries.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical events, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Complete required reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
