About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed Security Officer at a food production and distribution location in Prince George, Virginia. The officer will help safeguard the site by patrolling assigned areas, supporting access control, and maintaining a visible presence to deter security-related incidents. The role emphasizes customer service, clear communication, integrity, and collaboration with the site team. The schedule is Monday and Tuesday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The pay rate is $16.44 per hour. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable law.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state or local laws and regulations, potentially before employment.
- A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors by following site-specific security procedures and policies, and performing emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of facility buildings, access points, parking areas, loading docks, and the perimeter, identifying and reporting unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle entry records.
- Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, notify appropriate personnel, and prepare clear incident reports.
- Observe and report conditions that may affect operations, including unsecured doors, damaged fencing, lighting concerns, and restricted-area access.
