About The Position

As a part-time Unarmed Patrol Coordinator at a financial institution location in San Mateo, California, you will help safeguard clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with visitors and staff and support a welcoming environment. The posted schedule is Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The pay rate is $24.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff while following site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor property access, verify visitor credentials as directed, and report access concerns or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and professionally, using problem-solving skills and requesting additional assistance when needed.
Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other security-related documentation in accordance with company and site requirements.
