About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed roving Security Officer in Independence, Kentucky. The officer will serve and safeguard clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and supporting a welcoming environment. The role includes routine patrols, observing and reporting concerns, communicating professionally with employees and visitors, and providing exceptional customer service. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site. The listed pay rate is $19.50 per hour. The posted schedule is Wednesday 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, Thursday 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, and Friday 3:00 PM–11:00 PM. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Undergo a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements imposed by applicable state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
Monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence, and help deter security-related incidents.
Observe and report concerns, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and support a welcoming environment.
