About The Position

As a part-time Security Officer supporting a financial institution in Port Isabel, Texas, you will help safeguard the client by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and providing customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and stakeholders, report observations, and respond to incidents according to site protocols. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The pay rate is $15.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
Have a valid driver's license only if applying for a driving position.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations while following established site protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of business areas, entrances, and the perimeter of the financial institution location.
Monitor access points and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents to appropriate personnel.
Complete required reports and maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
