About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time, unarmed Security Officer to serve and safeguard clients in industries including commercial real estate, healthcare, education, and government. The role involves providing customer service while carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Officers respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and use a problem-solving approach. They also conduct regular and random patrols around client businesses and their perimeters. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site.

The position pays $22.30 per hour and is paid weekly. Applicants must meet the minimum age and education or experience requirements, and are subject to a background investigation and drug screen as permitted by law. Licensing requirements depend on applicable state or local regulations and may need to be met before employment. A valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or have 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, and performing emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
