About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed Security Officer in Chattanooga, Tennessee, for a technology, media, and telecommunications location. The officer will help safeguard the site by monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and helping deter security-related incidents. The role also provides customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, contractors, and delivery personnel while supporting a welcoming environment.

The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., at a pay rate of $17.00 per hour. Applicants must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is contingent on a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. State or local licensing requirements may apply.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by following site-specific procedures and security policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter to identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery authorization according to site procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations while following established emergency response protocols.
• Accurately document patrols, incidents, and observed conditions, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
