About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer in Reno, Nevada, supporting a technology, media, and telecommunications location. The officer will help safeguard the site through routine patrols, a visible security presence, responses to security concerns, and customer service. The role calls for integrity, reliability, and a collaborative approach. The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The pay rate is $24.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable law.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements applicable under state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of technology infrastructure areas, office spaces, access points, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter.
Monitor site access, verify credentials according to site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents and critical situations, notify appropriate personnel, and document activities as required.
Complete activity reports, incident reports, and shift handoff communications in accordance with company and site-specific procedures.
