About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Field Patrol in Jacksonville, Florida. The position is assigned to a financial institution and provides a designated weekly shift at a specific site, requiring a six-month commitment. The scheduled anchor shift is Saturday from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The officer may claim additional shifts through the scheduling platform, with the opportunity to increase hours up to 40 per week and the flexibility to scale back. The pay rate is $18.00 per hour.

The officer provides customer service while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities. Duties include armed patrols, access monitoring, incident response, and accurate documentation. Applicants must be at least 21 years old for armed roles and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is conditional on applicable background and drug screening and participation in industry-specific security training.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to members, employees, and visitors while following security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a financial institution.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, ATM areas, entrances, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized access or suspicious behavior according to site procedures.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, coordinating with management and law enforcement when appropriate.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security concerns accurately and promptly in accordance with company and site reporting requirements.
