About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Armed Security Officer to patrol a retail location in Carrollton, Texas. The officer will conduct routine armed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to changing situations. The role includes providing customer service and clear communication to visitors and team members while upholding Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity. A Texas Level III Armed Certification is required. The position pays $18.00 per hour. The listed schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Requirements

Possess a Texas Level III Armed Certification.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to customers, visitors, and employees by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, contacting appropriate personnel or emergency services as directed by site procedures.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of sales areas, receiving areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and customer and employee activity; report suspicious behavior, policy violations, hazards, and unusual conditions to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
Complete required reports, maintain accurate activity logs, and handle issued equipment in accordance with applicable laws, site procedures, and company policies.
