About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Armed Security Officer to serve and safeguard a financial institution in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The officer will conduct armed patrols, maintain a visible security presence, support a welcoming environment for members and staff, and respond professionally to security-related concerns. The role is scheduled for daytime shifts on Monday and Tuesday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:45 p.m., at a pay rate of $19.57 per hour.

Requirements

At least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable law.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to members, visitors, and employees while following security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to alarms, incidents, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel or emergency services as needed.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas, ATM locations, and perimeter.
Monitor access points and activity, and report unusual conditions, policy violations, and security-related concerns.
Maintain required reports and activity logs.
Carry authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, and Allied Universal policies.
